Dr Roy Meriton completed his PhD in Business and Economics at Leeds University Business School, UK, in 2016. He now holds a lectureship in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Loughborough University based in the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Drawing on the critical realist notion of emergence, his PhD thesis interrogates the modalities of interactions between internal conversations and organizational contexts in shaping organizational behaviour.
His research interest spans a variety of academic disciplines including organizational behaviour, strategic management, and supply chain management. He has presented at numerous international conferences and has published in a number of internationally recognized journals such as the International Journal for Production and Operations Management (IJOPM), and Production Planning and Control (PPC). His latest article is entitled ‘Do Makerspace represent scalable production models of community-based redistributed manufacturing?’.
