Raini Nailer

Rainer Nailer has an MA in Social and Cultural Anthropology (University of Amsterdam), an MSc in Public Health (Flinders University, South Australia), a BSc (Hons) in Social Science (James Cook University, Queensland), and a BA in Archaeology (Flinders University, South Australia). She has held various positions in the Australian public health system for a variety of different organisations and for government, working on projects in preventative health specific to obesity, diabetes, tobacco cessation and prevention of violence against women. Her main areas of interest are obesity and diabetes, health behaviours, medical and cultural anthropology, public health, social science research.
